The first and only bed of its kind, the Total Lift Bed™ is able to tilt a patient from a 0° flat position to an 82° fully upright position, and any degree in-between. The TLB relies upon a cutting-edge tilting mechanism, in addition to the exclusive Foot Lifter™, which raises the bed while still maintaining the patient’s center of gravity towards the back, and brings their feet to floor level. Unlike anything else, the Total Lift Bed™ provides the revolutionary ability to gradually measure and increase weight bearing ratios earlier in treatment, which sets an unmatched industry standard for accelerated early mobility therapy. As a result, patient strength can be improved more quickly, potentially reducing length of stay in the health care facility.
The Total Lift Bed™ features two integrated scales: one located in the sleep deck and one located in the patented Foot Lifter™ footboard. As the bed tilts, a digital screen displays the weight bearing ratio, allowing caregivers to control and gradually increase weight bearing capabilities for accelerated early mobility, improved ambulation and ultimately, optimized patient outcomes.
