The Cadd Prizm VIP pump is the first Sims Deltec pump with a capacity for multiple therapies. It should not be confused with the Cadd Prizm PCS, another version of the same pump having different capabilities (see Cadd Prizm PCSII  Revs D/G). The Prizm VIP provides PCA (pain management) therapy, Continuous delivery, TPN infusion with tapered delivery at the beginning and end of infusion and Intermittent delivery. It is indicated for intravenous, intra-arterial, intraperitoneal (abdominal), epidural space (spinal), or subarachnoid space (membrane enclosing the brain and spinal column) infusion.
